One of the city's fish and seafood temples. Elegant, inviting decoration featuring lots of light-coloured wood. It has managed to maintain the essence of the first Zapirain, which opened in Lekeitio more than six decades ago. Respect for the produce that comes from the entire Basque coast. Fish cooked to perfection and good command of the griddle. Well-made turbot, red sea bream and kokotxas, a traditional fish stew. The lobster salad and the soup are addictive. Relatively short but well-chosen wine list. Worth a visit!
