A beautiful 19th-century former farmhouse on the outskirts of Gernika. Pleasant, cosy interior. Exceptional wine cellar, well worth a visit. It’s like a museum! Their sommelier Jon Andoni is the 2018 Spanish champion. You can find wine from all over the world on its menu. Highlights include the stuffed Swiss chard stalks, the hake in a parsley sauce, the sirloin steak with truffle and, of course, the green Gernika peppers. Efficient waiting staff. Prices match the quality.
