On the edge between Barcelona and Hospitalet, you’ll find this small, cosy establishment, tastefully decorated in quasi-vintage style. Short à la carte menu that includes allergens and several menus. Dishes such as chickpea curry with cauliflower and poached egg, vegetables tempura or the star dish mitja galta (stewed pork cheek), that inspired its name. Their set lunch menu is very successful: it has creative touches, a competitive price and changes every week. It’s always full and there’s commotion, so it’s best to book. Very friendly, efficient staff. Definitely worth the trip.
